Floyd's getting touched up a bit....

I'm seeing some stuff here....looks like Floyd's slowing a bit.

I think Cotto will catch him really nice with a left hook very soon. Floyd isn't slipping them very well...Cotto is getting vvery close with it.

Floyd's bleeding from the mouth and nose.

Seemed like a real good round for Cotto (8th)

That was a big round for Miguel. It's fun to see Floyd punched a few times.

The more vulnerable Mayweather is fun to watch. Still does some pretty things, but he gets hit a lot more and he sort of stands and slugs in a way that is unusual for him. Good times.

For the first time I've seen that when Floyd lies on the ropes he's extremely open to a straight left jab. Everyone tries to hook him there

    Guys....

Cotto has won what...the last four rounds? If Cotto's stamina doesn't betray him, we could be in for an upset.

I think Floyd's pushing most of his shots then loading up on a big one...he can still catch Cotto coming in but the momentum has shifted to Cotto.

Cotto again. Not just another day in the office for Mayweather this time. Commentators are openly rooting for Mayweather for some reason, even they are being tempered.

Cotto getting that look that underdogs get when they start to feel like they may have a shot.

Absolutely- and can you imagine Floyd fighting 15 rounders every 7 or 8 weeks against guys like Basilio or Gavilan? He wouldn't stay undefeated for long and if he did, he'd never earn a cent because the guys fixing the scorecards would clean him out.

Floyd's fought like that before if I remember...maybe against Corley or sometime around the time of the Corley fight? It was fun to watch he stood and slugged.

Yep. Emboldened. He doesn't have the gas to keep it up but it beggars questions as to Floyds supposed greatness. Here's a guy who took precious little damage all his career, has had plenty of long breaks to shake off the damage, I mean year-long and more, and here he is looking distinctly human against a guy with a lot of miles on the clock, and not too much in terms of speed or variety.
