What annoys you more a talented guy whose punches can't cracks an egg or a talented guy who would fall from a slight breeze hitting his chin?

China Chin. Don't know why....I guess I feel its more masculine, more admirable to be able to take a hard punch than to be able to give a hard punch.

Probably feather fisted guys actually. I love me some hard, meaty punches.

Feather fist. If you can't punch with power then I almost don't think you're worth my time watching. Professional boxers are supposed to be trained to throw proper, sharp, and yes powerful punches. They don't have to be Julian Jackson, but none of them should be feather-fisted. There's only so much you can do to teach a guy to take a punch.

Guys who don't throw proper punches are most annoying, whether they can hit or not

    Feather fist

You don't have to be a puncher to be entertaining but it helps a great deal. If a fight has basically a 0% chance in ending up with a knockout it loses a lot of appeal.

Yeah, who would you rather watch, Tommy Hearns or Paulie?

At least china chinned guys you get the added excitement of a possible KO either way.

Feather fists, definitely. So boring, and it's fucking pathetic a man specifically trained to fight for the majority of his life hits like a toddler.

At least Slappy would sit down on one every once in awhile. That was the beauty of his style. Opponents would think they're getting noodle-armed, drop their guard and bam, he'd shock them with a sit-down punch in the middle of the flurry.

People loved Manuel Medina for some reason. He'd throw 1000 Raggedy-Andy punches a round and Lampley would cum in his pants. He'd miss about 95% of them, but he was apparently "out-working" the other guy. I hated that shit.

Obviously featherfisted irritates me more. Not even close. I like a possibility of a fight ending at any given time and a china chin guy gives you exactly that and a feather fisted fag basically shows up and goes "You like jabs and clinches ? Well you're in luck! 36 minutes of luck! "

I'll take china chins over Pauli Malignaggi's. Guys who can't punch make boring fights. At least the guys with shit chins are in exciting fights.

Feather fists. With these types there is not much hope of seeing fireworks, which is why we watch boxing.

A guy like Wayne McCullough had a granite chin but lacked the power, his fights were pretty exciting?

Jake La Motta also- not much of a puncher, more than Wayne, but a pretty desperate KO ratio and a pretty exciting fighter.

Depends on the feather first or china chin

Niccolino Locche was a featherfist, but I'd watch that motherfucker make fools out of guys all day

Floyd Patterson couldn't take a clean shot to save his life, but the results were often very exciting... Ditto Terry Norris

The worst featherfists are the brawling kind... Paulie Ayala, Juan Diaz, Troy Dorsey... 1000 punches, nobody hurt

this times a million, and add Paul Williams, Oscar Larios, and Kassim Ouma to that list

the "volume punching" style is second only to the Wlad Klitschko/John Ruiz jab-clinch style in terms of how annoying it is to watch

I was about to bring up Paulie Ayala- the guy barely got past a guy that McCullough managed to stop in 7 rounds, namely Johnny Bredahl. In the meantime, Bredhal nearly got beaten to death in Copenhagen.

Ayala was a real boring fighter. His fight with Bones Adams was good, apart from that, real mush. Like Juan Diaz for the Size Zero Generation.

I agree I generally can't stand guys like Larios/Ayala, and especially Ouma.

Somehow I used to quite like Williams though, he seemed a bit more fun to watch than the average featherfisted swarmer.
