    I think Williams was a bit different because, kind of like Calzaghe, he did have the capability to hurt guys when he chose to sit down on his punches. Plus, he was the type who didn't mind trading with guys who carried much more power than he did (eg Margarito).

    larios was a harder puncher than ayala and at least tried to finish guys. i enjoyed his first round destruction of jorrin (in his own backyard), his war vs. vasquez (where he won via stoppage) and few of his fights in japan. he also beat the shit outta wayne mccullough in the rematch.

    to me, larios was kinda like manuel medina but with much better punching power.

    he also stunned pacquiao a few times despite losing thoroughly when he was past his prime.

    It's fucking racist as hell for me to think this but another thing that pissed me off about him is that he looked like:

    "Well, I jes want-ed to geeve my bes' eff-ort in de ring for my fan an my familia an trow de ponches dat help me to ween de fight"

    but instead he sounded like

    "Hoo-whee, man! I tell you what, I sure am plum tuckered out from alla that there punchin' I'z doin in there with that there feller. He's like a West Texas stallion, that boy... Couldnt do much-a nuthin cept keep on punchin and hope the good lord take care-a the rest... hoo-wheee"

    Yep, although Paul still had that pitty pat swarmer style, when he chose to, he had some meat on his punches which made him more exciting, plus he's all lanky and hilarious looking, which also made him more fun to watch. Lanky swarmers are rare.

    Also as a couple of either people said, it's probably unfair to include Larios in that group, he has been in some pretty good fights, and is also a bit heavier handed than proper pitty pat swarmers like Ayala and Juan Diaz etc. Like Paul, he is similar stylistically, but just a better, more exciting version.
