Feel free to also include Johnson and Green. So is DM too big for these guys or does a guy like Ward just outwork DM ???

Before I favor Ward I'd like to see him in a few LHW fights. DM is a decent sized favorite over the rest

Agreed. Dariusz is too big and strong for most, as he was a big lt heavy, but I think Ward defeats him with his skill

They all beat him because Mikkelboofski is a scrub, apart from Arabham who is even scrubbier.

DM would've outworked glen johnson, knocked out allan green, outworked and possibly stopped dirrell, and probably would've beaten up froch and abraham as well.

kessler in his prime would've given him fits with range and long shots, but i'd still pick dm.

i'd only pick ward to outpoint him in a grapplefest.

Please, Frock would walk that German scrub down and make him fold like a cheap lawnchair.

    Dariusz is obscenely overrated.

I think it's a shame the Roy fight never happened, as everyone would have seen BOofski didn't even belong in the same ring.

dm beat the shit outta virgil hill, a guy who would've beaten froch imo.

aside from that roccighianni fiasco, he dominated most of his opponents and was also fun to watch. of course, that's not to say that he would've won more than 3 rounds vs. jones had it happened.

I don't think he would have won 1 round against Roy.

    Tiozzo > Dariusz.

I might fancy Ward to beat Darius, but it'd be close. He beats the rest

You know it, a reevaluation shall tell you Dariusz was an average champion and nothing more.

I would give Dariusz about a 0.001 chance of winning that fight. A bit like Tszyu, Dariusz is one of those fighters I simply never "got".

He just really doesn't seem that good to me, not at elite level.

tiozzo did beat the living crap outta him, but be serious. dm was shot to shit and had lost to julio gonzalez. he also struggled w/ richard hall in both outings that had it taken place in the states, he would've lost both fights on cuts.

tiozzo did knock him out in a brutal fashion though.

Nothing to do with being a teenybopper or even close, so enough with this "p4p #1" nonsense.

The fact is people talked about him as an elite fighter, and possibly a Roy beater, but he never really beat anyone, and he also got thrashed by my boy Fabrice.

He's an overrated fighter. Like I said he's no scrub, a decent champ, but nothing more.

I think Frock would beat the shit out of him, so would Ward.

cdogg, you do realise I don't even like Calzaghe right? I used to be a proper Calzaghe hater and root for literally everyone to KO him, even Mario Veit, and Lacy.

steve you can vouch for me, you've known since the SO days that I don't like Calzaghe at all, it's just that post Lacy, I became a bit more objective. I know Slice can remember for sure, as Calzaghe was another fighter we butted heads on, so to speak.

To answer your question, depending on how nice it was, I might steal his dog.

If Hut and cdogg were more objective, they'd realise Calzaghe isn't dissimilar to Vitali.

They sure as hell don't look pretty doing it, but they have a number of attributes that make them incredibly effective and hard to beat.

Attributes they share too, like excellent chin, stamina and workrate coupled with an unorthodox style that's hard to read.
