Johnson was a real good fighter, exciting and game, a good puncher... he just didn't have the best whiskers or gas tank and those things failed him against the very best of maybe the greatest Light Heavyweight era of all time (either that or the Ezzard Charles/Archie/Bivins/Marshall/Maxim period)

If I'm not mistaken, Roshii Wells was in the PAL Nationals with me in '95!

I do remember, Zab Judah because he was in my weight class at the time (139); it was also my first time seeing Floyd Mayweather at 18 years old and 125 pounds. I thought he was going to win a gold medal; Antonio Tarver, Zahir Raheem, Brian Adams and Lamon Brewster (When he was married to Tichina Arnold, who played Pam on Martin) were also a few other guys I had a chance to see at the tournament.

The best part of the tournament, however, was staying up until the sun came up, talking life and boxing with Roy Jones Sr. I fought one of his guys in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We all stayed on a Naval base in Dallas along with the U.S. Marine Boxing Team for the PAL National Tournament. Good times.

Poor Ike...so very sad that you need to piggy back off of mike, the only poster with less to offer of worth than you. Talk about a "Dream Team" of uselessness.

Nah. You made the right call...Hill is the least of the five fighters...and by a mile to the first three.
