Would Froch gain revenge? I'm hearing this will be made for November time, with Lucian Bute fighting in Canada on the same night.

I think Froch has a good chance. It's not a dead certainty, but I think he can get revenge.

Froch's confidence is high. He knows Kessler don't like being pressured so he will let his hands go.

The Bute rematch has been agreed for March, according to the BBC, so I wonder if he might take an easier fight than Kessler beforehand? Knowing Froch, probably not.

I'd expect Froch to win a rematch- I thought the first fight very close and Carl would have likely gotten the nod if the fight was in Nottingham.

I thought Kessler won the first fight fairly clear, although it was obviously a very tough fight. I'd lean towards him again in a rematch but I think it'll be far closer this time.

    This enhances Calslappy's legacy! :bears:

I thought it was pretty close. Good fight. Froch was more accurate than Kessler through most of the fight as I remember, and allot of Kessler's impressive flurries were hitting shoulders and gloves.

    Bring on the rematch

    Calzaghes legacy is secure.

Froch-Kessler I was like Morales-Pacquiao I kinda. A close, tough fight but you knew who won by the end of it.

To be honest I didn't think Morales Vs Pacquiao 1 was close, I thought Morales won clear as day, 8 rounds to 4.

As for Frock and Kessler, I like Frock a lot and have never liked Kessler but I do think Kessler deserved the decision, close but clear.

However I feel Frock is a better fighter. Kessler fought a particularly spirited fight in their first match, and Frock seemed a tad more tepid than usual.

I expect Frock to win a rematch.

Going 1-1 with Froch will soon be Calzaghe's best scalps biggest achievement. Legacy!

Calzaghe's best scalp is Hopkins. You know- the present LHW champion?

I doubt it happens before the Bute rematch. Froch and Bute will both fight a showcase.
