Six months minimum. Its a new departure for me. I will be doing all the stuff I should have been doing when I was instead worrying about my degree and all that shit- some welding, electronics, going back to the boxing 3 times a week.....nothing in Ireland except bloating and expense accounts. Brooks looked terrible after the early rounds; he basically got busted up by a come forward plodder. Really enjoyable watch, though. MTF
I didn't get to see the earlier rounds obviously he did enough early on. I thought he did well to eek out a decisions he took a lot of shots in the later rounds
He dominated early and that won him the fight in the end. He showed guts and heart in the later rounds but he took a shellacking at times from a guy who is mediocre at best. Doesn't bode well for that world title shot. MTF
He has to take the positives from the fight. He was tested late on and still managed to get the W. Sometimes fighters have it too easy and a fight like this could be the kick up the backside he needs, a little reminder that he aint Matthew Hatton not yet :)
Anyone watch Tyson fury fight vs homer simpson on channel 5, it was awesome chris Eubank jnr was quite exciting too, not to sure how far he will go, but good fight to watch.
Fury was his usual plodding dozy self fighting a fat midget. Eubanks is very hittable and has none of his father's punching power. Both will cause him trouble later down the line. MTF
Brook did well to hang on. Didn't catch the early rounds, but Brook certainly had the worst of it after round 7.
I can't wait to see this Brook guy slapped around when he fights someone legit, as with all Ingle fighters.
