    lol, get Sonnen balls out of your eyes. He's nothing but a decent contender without the juice. He was gassed and the reason he fell down so ankwardly after missing the spinning elbow was in fact because he was winded.

    I only saw him when he entered the ring and he looked fine to me. I don't believe for one second that the guy doubts himself.

    The first round went as bad as it could be and he still didn't shit himself and defended the takedowns even more concentrated - that's not a scared man to me, sorry.

    did he change it back for this fight? I agree with Azazel, though. He wasn't tito ortiz gassed but the spring he had in the first round and the 5 rounds of the first fight seemed to be missing a BIT in the second.

    I dont need to read his mind, i can read his face. He never looked like that before. Did you see him try to rub vas on his chest? Did you see his kids running in and crying after the fight? Like you said, you only him get in the ring. Watch the whole entrance.

    And again, Silva had to be TALKED into this fight. He didnt want it. He needed to be convinced to take it. And the amount of money he is being paid, seems to have something to do with it.

    Maybe he didn't wanna get the trash talking idiot a second nice payday? The vaseline thing could also just because he thought ok Sonnen wants to have it dirty, let's make it dirty.

    And it was the biggest fight of his career and the most meaningful fight for him of couse his fucking kids are relieved. Like it matters what they do anyways.

    If he was scared on his way in, so be it - he shook it off when he FACED Sonnen.

    Possibly. I think after round 1 he was shitting bricks. He didnt even know where his corner was. But it doesnt matter because he won the fight. THAT is really all that matters.

    The reason is because many people thought Silva was going to lose IMO. They wont admit it, but they thought it. And that is being shown right now by calling the fight meaningful. If you thought Silva was going to win, this fight should be no different than any other Silva fight.

    This is also inaccurate. Getting dominated for 5 straight minutes and landing a terrific knee due to the completely unpredictable and uncharacteristic spinning backfist by Sonnen isnt making someone look like a bum front runner.
