I actually feel that Gatti might KO Diaz even at 135. He'd most likely be behind on the cards, but I think he catches and KO's the Cow late.

I think Ward beats down Kat.

I'd take Diaz over Gatti any day of the week

It doesn't even matter that the blubbery one can't punch... he doesn't need to. Hurting Gatti was a matter of course and Diaz would hurt Gatti.

I wonder if Diaz had the heart, and mental toughness to take the heat Ivan Robinson took.

Hell, I almost feel like the Robinson of the Gatti fights would outpoint Diaz.

Baby Cow sucked. His shining moment was giving Marquez a tough fight for the first half.

None of his wins impressed me too much. The Katsidis fight was probably his best win, and that fight was a lot closer than biased HBO made it seem.

Diaz beat Frietas, but Corrales basically beat all the fight outta Frietas.

I firmly believe that a prime Frietas would have fucked Diaz up.

I know he sucked, X, but we are putting him in with a guy who made Angel Manfredy look Julio Cesar Chavez:lol:

I disagree about Frietas, he was always a hype job and a front runner. I still Diaz, in all of his fat suckiness, could beat him, even without the Diego fight

Freitas wasn't that much of a hypejob cdogg, he just lacked heart etc.

I can't call anyone that beat a pretty much prime, undefeated Casamayor a hypejob.

A hypejob wouldn't even come close to beating a solid, crafty world class fighter like Casamayor.

I'm far from a Freitas fan, in fact I was basically 100% sure that Chico was just too much man for Freitas and I was right, but I think a prime Freitas would beat the shit out of Diaz.

he barely beat him and his MUCH-HYPED power (reputation gained off of fighting South American Coffee Farmers who were forced to make weight when he wasn't) was non-existent. Casamayor was the puncher in that fight.

He won because Casamayor fought stupidly and even then, just barely.

Katsidis was never a 140lb fighter, so that's Wards all night. He beat bigger better guys than Katsidis. I don't think Katsidis could have done a fucking thing with Reggie Green or Shea Neary. Ward wins that hands down. Too small and too limited. This is an average small guy meets an average smaller guy.

As for Fatty No Punch vs Gatti? Gatti didn't like volume guys who had good conditioning, a la Ivan Robinson. Thanfully, Diaz has none of Robinsons power or size. Close fight. Give it to Diaz on points, just.

Casapeor sucked. He was awful and skilless, a dirty little third world maggot. Freitas outboxed him too:atu::atu:
