Castillo would NOT last 12 rounds with Duran. No fuckin way. Duran TKO 6-8. Castillo's chin and toughness are overrated.
He took 10 rounds of bombs from Corrales, I would say he had a pretty good chin in his prime. I don't see the pre-Corrales version getting stopped early by Duran in this matchup.. late TKO sounds more likely
Castillo was an excellent fighter. I wouldn't be surprised if he went 15, actually. He would just get ruined.
Castillo has as much of a chance of going the distance with Duran as Corrales would have of going the distance with Pryor. Duran WOULD stop him. You're overrating Castillo. He was closer to the level of Ray Mancini, than to the level of Duran.

You know that bum got stopped by bums in Mexico a few times too. Castillo was barely a world class fighter. A guy who cheated to beat smaller guys and lost nearly all his fight when he fought at his real weight welterweight.
