The SHOT Ali. The one that fought Leon Spinks. Against Big Frank Bruno. The one that fought Mike Tyson I.

First or second Spinks fight? Probably Bruno either way, but Ali might win a bunch of rounds over 15.

Christ on his Cross. It would be a sad day when Ali loses to Bruno.

Ali in the rematch might win all the late rounds. But Bruno was better than Leon, and Ali was done. I'd say it's a close fight, lean towards Bruno.

I can't even imagine the old 1000 years past it Ali losing to Bruno. Hell...I'm not even sure Bruno could go a full 15 rounds without falling on his face from exhaustion.

Bruno could probably get a decision against the Ali from the first fight who didn't consider Spinks to remotely be a threat and basically mailed in his performance. But I can't imagine Ali would take Bruno as lightly as he took Spinks.

I think the Ali from the rematch, who was more prepared, could squeak out the win. Bruno, as usual, would look good early, (but Ali would still find ways to frustrate him and win a few rounds) but eventually his stamina would start to fail him and the later rounds would be all Ali. It would be a close fight and one that Ali haters would scream "robbery" about for all eternity...as they do about every close fight he ever had.

Over 12, I think Bruno wins by close decision

Over 15, those extra three rounds are three Ali rounds against a guy with a small Gas tank... I like Ali by close decision there

Bruno. Ali after the Thrilla would have been a sitting duck for most modern HW's. Only question here is Bruno's stamina and mentality. Size and talent wise he wouldn't have a problem with Ali.
