Regardless of what really happens inside the ring, Marquez will be awarded the decision this time only to correct past injustices.

Better than Cotto 2. I absolutely had ZERO interest in that fight. Manny has no one left to fight. I'll be honest when he tore through Hatton and Cotto that was in my the peak of his popularity well at least to me now it's just all played out. He seems bored with it and I feel bored with him. Even if the Floyd fight goes down in 2013 it's just too late. They're both old and Manny seemed to lose his fire a long time ago. Floyd would beat him up.

would be more appealing had marquez actually been rewarded w/ an official W in one of those fights. he'll probably get robbed again.

All the fights with JMM are close, if Manny keeps fighting this guy he's going to lose eventually. I hope not though, I still want to see Floyd vs Manny.

Honestly couldn't care less about Manny or Floyd (to an extent) any more, there's only one fight people wanted to see and it's well past it's sell-by date now. Floyd is still good to watch I guess because of his technical skills, but he isn't fighting anyone I care to see him up against.

I'm surprised you feel that way, as you found the 3rd fight more interesting than most.

Being that a Floyd fight is off the table, this fight isn't that bad IMO.

Chances are it'll be very much like the 3rd fight, super close once again, but I feel that is still more interesting than a Cotto or Timmy rematch.

    Pretty much how I feel.

I feel bad saying it because I loathe Floyd and like Pacquiao, but these days I probably find Floyd more interesting to watch than the meak, tame Pacquiao that we've seen in his previous 3 fights.

I want to see Bradley prove he deserves to be a champ by actually defeating Manny Pacquiao, something he, IMO, failed to do

Then there is nothing to see in a rematch. He clearly got whooped and would again.

Agreed. Potentially the biggest fight in boxing history has been downgraded to "well, i guess i'd still watch it". :pathetic:

It's not as meaningless as Jones-Hopkins 2 but after every fight goes by it gets closer.

Even IF they ever do finally get in the ring the post fight will be more about asking what would have happened 2-3 years ago. Of course most of that talk will come from the loser's (and fans) camp, but nonetheless it will be true on either side.

Exactly... it's one of the biggest disappointments in the history of the sport that this fight did not get made when it truly mattered
