Stop trolling Mustard, Tszyu wasn't even close to being shot. Same old limited, 1-2 headhunter, gutless Tszyu I'm afraid.

    Come off it.

Hatton was the man at 140.

2000 or 2001 Tszyu stops Hatton in a couple of rounds.

I agree ... but not the 1999 version

I'd take Hatton over any version of scrubby, gutless, greasy Tszyu.

  6. Pop Quiz (for anyone, really): who was Kostya Tszyu lined-up to fight in 2005 if that huge Hatton-payday hadn't of come along?

Tszyu wasn't shot, but he was definitely past prime when he fought Hatton who wrestled him and held him all night

His timing was clearly off by a hair... There were a couple of 1-2s that JUST missed... A younger, sharper Tszyu lands them and it's sayonnara for Hatton

99-00 Tszyu would have beaten the shit outta Hatton.

You think Brandon Rios would have beaten Tszyu.

Your opinions on Kostya don't count.

Nah, I don't think Tszyu was much different when he fought Hatton. In only his previous fight, people were saying how great he looked destroying Mitchell.

Hatton would have ground down any version of Tszyu. Tszyu simply wasn't that good, highly overrated, and also folded when you brought the fight to him. He did it against Cool Vince, he did it against Hatton, and he would have done it again against any other good fighter that he couldn't put a dent in.

No, I think Tszyu would have beaten Rios.

And my opinions on Tszyu very much count. I was one of the few who picked Hatton to beat him. Who did you pick in that fight?

You guys overrated Tszyu, I rate him correctly.

saying he folded against Vince Phillips is insane

Phillips had to go through hell to get that stop

He had to STOP Tszyu. There was no quit in Tszyu in that fight at all.

Well then you changed your feelings after Rios-Abril.

Cause after Rios KO'd Acosta, and Antillion, you swore up and down that he would have KO'd Tszyu. EVERYONE remembers you saying it.

The washed up Tszyu was fighting Hatton on even terms until Ricky's youth took over. Tszyu had NONE of the timing, and handspeed that he had in his prime, and he was still having success.

The younger, sharper Tszyu would have taken Hatton apart.

  14. As would a pre war-torn Jose Luis Castillo.

I'd agree, but that's more debatable.

Castillo was a better fighter than Hatton, but it's possible Hatton's size would always be too much for him.

Whereas I can't see anyway Hatton beats prime Tszyu.
