Antuofermo was Basically a TOUGH Guy, Albeit a WORLD Class 1, Bro...Like it or Not, Martinez is a VERY TALENTED Fighter...BEST Case Scenario, Antuofermo STOPS Martinez LATE, but Up UNTIL that Point, he'd Be Behind by MORE than Few Rounds...Comfortably Behind, if You Will... Hagler - Antuofermo I Seemed to Be your Point of Emphasis for Favoring Vito, But Antuofermo Troubled a YOUNGER, Less URGENT Version of Marvin Hagler, than the 1 who BLITZED Alan Minter & Reigned Supreme @ 160 Throughout the 80's...By the Time of their RE, Vito WASN'T Even Competitive w/Marvin... He Definitely WOULD BE w/Martinez, but just Enough to LOSE a Fairly Decisive 12 or a Martinez-ChavezESQUE 15 Rounder... If they Fought 10 Times, Vito Wins 3 MAX... REED:cheer:
Marvin Hagler was a vastly superior boxer to Martinez and he deserved to win by maybe 2 or 3 points If Vito can accomplish that versus Hagler, there's no reason he can't do better against Martinez over 15 He probably runs out of time in 12
Hagler was a Better POCKET/CLOSE RANGE Boxer than Martinez...But even the Young Hagler LACKED Martinez's Overall SPEED & MOBILITY...Martinez Would Maintain DISTANCE Better than Hagler Did, Thereby NULLIFYING the Vast Majority of Antuofermo's Effectiveness & Chances of Winning... REED:hammert:
It's POSSIBLE if you're talking the mid 80's Hagler, but I tend to think Martinez would last about 8 before being TKO'd.
