Until he can explain the positive results to marihuana. Chavez lashes twiter attacks to the ref, calling him racist and accusing him of helping Martinez get up the canvas. Martinez reponds by calling him out, "Antidoping of blood and urine and we fight again tomorrow if it is up to me. Clean boxing which you have damage."
I just wonder why it took so long to come up with this suspension which can be lifted any time Chavez shows up and says a lie.:scratcher:
Chavez Jr acts like such a child. The only fighter that seems to act even more immature is Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Chavez Jr.stated he has NEVER smoked marihuana. He said he suffers from stress and his California doctor prescribed him cannabis so he could 'relax and sleep better'. http://www.elcomercio.com/deportes/Boxeador-suspendido-aseguro-marihuana-antidoping_0_786521381.html
It found it's way into his blood somehow. Whether he smoked it or not doesn't matter. There is no difference between smoking a bowl or eating a pot brownie or whatever.
I don't care about the drugs...let him as high as he wants..I was thinking more the bitching he is doing about the REF...It wasn't the ref who was holding his hands to his face for 11 rounds as Martinez won...round after round
Nope, he didn't. He stated that the doctor told him it will be harmful only if he smoked it, but instead he made 'tea' with it, which he drank at night since he suffers from a lot of stress. He thought that since it was prescribed to him by his California doctor, where cannabis is legal for medicinal purposes, it will be ok with the Nevada Boxing Comission.
What is most pathetic is that he is complaining about the instance when Martinez went down for a second time product of a Chavez PUSH (he was holding Martinez by the neck under his arm and then pushed him to the side resulting in a no-knockdown). The ref did not help him get up just grabbed Martinez gloves, wiped them on his shirt and told him to continue boxing. Chumpez saw a knockdown where it wasn't and a 'racist ref helping Martinez get up' where it wasn't the case. But then if you read some reactions from mexicans fans in youtube stating the same thing, apparently mexicans suffer from some kind of boxing myopia.
