Emanuel Steward dead?

His sister claims he's still alive and that seems to be the most recent report.

 

Lets hope he makes a full recovery. I must say Im surprised at this: Manny always looked and moved like a man 20 years younger

 

He did not look like a typical 68 year old man at all.

Honestly, and not wanting to denigrate the man in his hour of death/need.....Manny was as bad for Wlad as he was good for him. Overall, I would say Manny did wonders for Wlad but there was a lot of tension between the two men at times.....Wlad should still, even at this stage of his career, take care of Wach, but Manny's departure, either from life itself or the boxing scene, might hasten Wlad's exit and that could be the greatest favour Manny ever did for the guy, because by rights, as I see it, Wlad should have fucked off out of boxing after the Haye fight.

 

If it wasn't for Manny Steward Wladimir would have gone on to get KO' 4-5 more times...not just KO...KOTFO...HOW was Manny BAD?

Sad news. As a Mike McCallum fan, I've never cared much for Steward, but it's sad to see him pass.

Steward had an incredible record in heavyweight title fights. Only lost one real title fight (Lewis-Rahman I) an another for a belt (Klitschko-Brewster I)

He worked the winning corner in both Lewis-McCall fights and he trained Holyield the only time he beat Bowe.
