Yeah, Floyd wouldn't have to share the cash with Martinez

But there's at least a possibility he could lose.

If the fight was at 160, surely Martinez would be the bookies favourite.

Mayweather getting a split cut 55-65% of a fight vs. Pacquiao...is more money than....80 or 90% in a fight vs. Martinez..and if you add in the PPV's it's not close at all.

I doubt Mayweather takes the fight. In all likelyhood, he'll fight Tim Bradley and say "Im facing the man that beat Pacquiao"

I honestly wish both Floyd and Pac would just retire already. They're not gonna fight each other, nor are they gonna fight Sergio Martinez.

I'd happily see them call it quits for good and go back to their holes.

No shit! I saw Martinez at the BHOF in '11 and was shocked at how big he was. Now, he wasn't fighting so he was at his walk around weight, but still, he was a lot bigger than I thought he'd be. And when I say bigger, I mean pretty broad shouldered as well.

I don't think anybody is really criticizing Floyd for not fighting Martinez. I think most are just expressing their doubts that he would fight him to begin with, based on his past history of not taking chances since moving up to Welterweight, and not really wanting to fight Manny, who many think is a much easier fight for him then Martinez.

I would not blame Floyd for not fighting Sergio............I would however, give him a lot of credit if he did, win or lose.

I doubt Floyd cares what I think though.

At least not without random drug testing, 16 ounces gloves, 50 foot ring, catch weight of 150 lbs and a couple of new one if these ones are agreed upon

how about "get fucked I've already moved up from 130, and Martinez is a huge guy" :scratcher:

Martinez reminds me of when Hopkins was calling out all the smaller fighters...i still remember him calling out Mosley at some stage :atu:
