I'm very surprised by Wach's chin and heart. Too bad he didn't knock Wlad out in the 12th when Wlad was seemingly out on his feet from exhaustion. That would have truly been a great Rocky moment (With Stallone there and all that too) But anyway who has a better chin Vitaly or Wach? Could Vitaly withstand the barrage of punches Wach did if it was him in there ?
Since neither has been hurt very bad, it is impossible to tell. Wach has a very good chin based on that performance, though what helped him was that he kept his distance well and saw Wlad's punches coming, he wasn't caught blind there.
Wach did very well to see the final bell. He took some big shots. He also brought the best outta Wlad (well in some rounds)
Vitaly tooks some bombs from Lewis but nowhere near the amount of punishement Wach took. It's not even close
You could say though that the single shots Vitali took, the right uppercut by Lennox and the left cross of Sanders were on the same class as the bombs Wach ate. As said before, since neither guy has never been dropped nor even really wobbled, it is impossible to compare their chins
I'm watching the fight for the first time and wach is trying to be aggressive but lacks the skills to pull anything off. Head hunting too much. Wlad doing his usual thing with those lead lefts, straight rights.
I just listened to the interview with Wach and he's a really cool guy. Very humble. At the end of it he said that he wasn't that impressed with Wlad. He basically saiys Wlad is great and all but that he wasn't as great as he expected because an oaf like himself makes it 12 full rounds.
