If you watch that clip you can hear Groves tells Degale the strategy for fight night. Perfect game plan.

Watch the way McDonnell also bounces into the frame at that moment, before retreating with a well-sheepish look on his dopey sheeps face.

    DeGale won that.

Was the aggressor throughout, landed the better, cleaner shots (had Groves hurt more than once and Groves never hurt him), jab was more effective. Groves did too much backpedaling throughout.

Not even close. DeGale's "aggression" was laughable. A few shitty slaps here and there, most of which didn't land clean. He looked tepid and confused, not aggressive.

His jab was not remotely effective, in fact it was Georgie boy's jab that won him the fight.

Groves controlled the pace and action of the fight from start to finish. Sure he was backpeddling, but he was controlling DeGale, and landing more punches.

Groves certainly didn't control the pace or action. It was a close fight after all. Those "shitty slaps" caught Groves flush on the chin on a few occasions and they visibly stunned him. I believe it was the ninth round where Groves was caught clean and was sent stumbling back, but before DeGale could lay on the pain the bell rang.

    Groves fought like a bitch.

Yeah, if 120-105 can be considered close.

Lets say this is true. What happened to the great Olympian, why the hell didn't he beat Groves up.

Before the fight it was all DeGale and Groves was nothing more than a number. On fight night, Groves made a fool out of the fat lad. He also proved that he is the better boxer.

Close, clear, white wash ... what ever. Groves deservedly won that fight.
