Agreed on both counts.........if Fury pauses to smell leather in a fight with either brother, he gets sparked. Price, for all his flaws, is a guy who gets hit and hits back. Fury is loosey goosey , and if you like that kind of thing, fine, but.......I'll make a call on this now:- he'll wait for Vitali to retire, say he ran the big man out of the game, then get sparked in the USA by Arreola.

In fact, I will go one further.....he never fights for the WBC title.

Seriously, Fury/Price has to happen next year. If it doesn't, i'll be pissed off.

 

The domestic fights are not happening. Hatton didn't bother with Witter, Khan fought ONE {at best} Domestic "Rival", Haye fought ONE, at CW, and now this with Price and Fury. The BBC has rounded on Fury's performance and described the fight as "poor". Price vs Fury would generate a lot of interest and the winner would be a bona-fide challenger for any title. It would also make each man a few million quid.

 

Haye fought Chisora too.

Yes, I missed that. But even at that, he did it when both men were sort of down to nothing. Haye never wanted to face any domestic rivals BEFORE he got his fight with Valuev and after that he didn't dare risk his title until he got his fight with Wlad.

 

Both Fury and Price are for real. Either could win the EBU title right now and they would be handful for anybody apart from the Big Ks.

Price could beat Fury because he's f'n huge and hits hard. So it could definitely happen.

EBU is not as corrupt as the world titles, though of course it must be noted that most good fighters don't compete for it. However, outside Britain, EBU title has been seen as a noteworthy title.
