Because Held (Who is only 20 years old) was too young to be on the casino grounds where the fight was taking place. He was allowed to get in for the weigh ins and everything seemed worked out but some higher up commissioner just hours before the fight decided he can't be on the casino property thus fight had to be scrapped. When asked to comment Held said he respects the ruling and that he understands that he is indeed too young to do certain things . Afterwards he proceeded to a Walmart across the street to purchase some Doritos and a couple AK-47s.
Again, you've gotta feel bad for Bellator. They actually had a pretty good card lined up for last night. It should have contained a light heavyweight Championship bout, Held-Jansen for the LW Tourney final, and the HW Championship. The Held fight was scrapped as Boss mentioned and the LHW Championship was also scratched due to injury. Luckily the fight for the vacant HW Title (Cole Konrad's belt) was a pretty fight with Alexander Volkov beating Richard Hale. Poor Bellator. Nothing goes right for these guys.
Volkov has been somewhat impressive in Bellator so far, but I wish he was more willing to take risk and try to get finishes..
