At his best he is awesome - intelligent, crisp, precise. It has to be said though, for 2 fights in a row he was looking pretty leap amateurish, against Narvaez and Vazquez. Just a bit of a lull I think, he didn't look his usual self at all.

I think he'd fuck Gondo up.

It was short but sweet, and it was nice to see Big George back at ringside even if only for a short time---Roy as well. George still looks pretty good.

Roy isn't back at ringside. He's been there.

Based on what? He weighed almost 10lb less in the ring and looked softer carrying it. Nonito looks bigger than he is.

He doesn't look big at all at 122. He would be undersized at featherweight.

He needs to fight someone good though, really, it's getting boring seeing him blitz scrubs or washed up midgets.

Donaire? There is no chance he's juicing, none. He's doing VADA testing. The best testing in all of sports.

I'm not even sure he's as tall as looks. It's a weird one.

Why is that funny? He's one of only a few fighters in the sports who has signed up for this without anyone else telling him to. Are you familiar with VADA?

Im familiar with victor conte. the man who is on the cutting edge of PEDs. you know, the guy who works with donaire? its funny how marquez is accused of PEDs because, in part, of with who is he is affiliated.

Yes, I know what VADA is and I truly respect the idea and effort they are making. And if it actually works, all the best for the sport.

    However,

Almost all Olympic athletes around the world (barring US which doesn't follow the rules, at least not in track-and-field not professional leagues) are under the same rules. The anti-doping comittee (WADA) must always know where you are and you must be able to give a doping test with very short notice whenever they want to. Earlier the tests could be prolonged by not announcing your exact location (many cyclists for example did this), but now it leads no automatic punishment, you are treated the same way if you were caught positive on the test.

Thus, this should mean that there is no doping in the Olympics? Yet, there is. There are supplements that can't be tested. The tests can be manipulated afterwards. If you happen to know beforehand when the 'random' test happens, you know how to avoid it (has happened for example in Olympic skiing). The cheaters are always couple of steps in front.

This VADA is a very new organisation. Do they have enough workers who can actually provide the tests immediately, and find the athletes they want inside 24 hours? Do they have better tests than WADA, so that they can see all the illegal supplements that no other test shows? Also, if shit hits the fan and some big name is actually busted, will they really go out public or hide it the way other testers in the history have? All in all, is this VADA actually a legit testing system, or is it just a name with the authority of WBC and other sanctioning bodies, who also have good plans and strict rules, which they never follow? I don't know of yet.

It is cool that Donaire is in this and again, if they can make it work, all good. Until I see it working though, I have my doubts of it

WADA is some bullshit. They are the ones that "Lost" the tests for Winky and Quinlin. They are also the ones who supposedly allowed fighters to fail tests and still fight, some never being reported. Lime Morales failing 2 tests and WADA never reporting it until after the fight. Even though both the A and B samples had come up positive.

Conte went to jail, served his time. The Rat in JMM's corner sold everyone out and didn't serve a day in jail. Conte is also doing good for the sport and helping catch cheaters now. He's not working someone's corner.

Didn't Ward just buy some shit from his company? I didn't think he was part of thier actual camp.

    doesn't mean anything

the supplement creators are always a step ahead of the testing

I don't have the energy to argue with you over this. Just do more reading on testing, Gabrial Montoya has a lot of stuff out there. If you don't think VADA is the best testing available, I don't know what to say.

I'm no expert on PED's but what I'd like to know if some are still undetectable. If so, it basically invalidates Donaire initiative, especially since he's working with Conte

not saying it isn't the best testing

I am saying the best testing is still not good enough

It's random and they are subject to testing 24-7 365 days a year, in and out of competition. It's the only testing worth a damn. Blood and Urine, and it's also the only testing where they do carbon isotope ratio, which is the only way to catch guys using synthetic testosterone. It's far and away the best thing available.

I know, man, I am not disagreeing

I am just saying the technology is always a step ahead

A space shuttle might be the best available method for transporting human beings into space... but if your destination is Jupiter, you are shit out of luck

to me it makes no sense for donaire to volunteer to do this type of thing. his opponents are not doing it. it implies he has a guilty conscience working with this asshole victor cunte. it also leads me to believe that cunte knows how to beat vada testing.

You beat testing by cycling, you beat that with random testing.

If that's not good enough, we may as well just say fuck it and inject everyone full of steroids.
