Don't sleep on Alan Belcher. The dude is one of the top 3 or 4 MW's in the world right now. I expect Belcher to fight in a title elimination bout next if he gets by Okami. The best opponent in an elimination bout would be Michael Bisping. But I have a feeling that Bisping might not get past Vitor Belfort in his next fight.

So maybe it's Belcher versus the winner of Boetsch-Phillipou.

JDS KO 2-------- Too much power not to land something big before getting taken down.
Miller UD-------- Miller is good enough to fight off sub attempts earlier from Lauzon and out-work him over 3 rounds.
Phillipou KO 2----- Costa has great stand-up and trains with Chris Weidman so his take down defense is excellent. Painful night for Boetsch
Belcher UD----- Toughest fight to call. Belcher is just too good in too many areas.
Brunson UD----- Maybe Leben, but I can't pick a two-time drug cheat.

Yeah they did about 6 years ago and Okami won via UD.

By the way, our picks are identical. Copycat.

Melvin always seems dangerous at first and then seems so damn vulnerable towards the end.

Leben's fight was disappointing. His striking didn't look good except for a few leg kicks.

I think Junior mightve stun Cain a little bit with an elbow in the 2nd. Cain needs to still be careful.

Good solid win for Cain. Tough fight. 5 rounds for a heavyweight title fight in that fashion is crazy

yea both guys were exhausted. there was no steam in either's guys punches. either way, good for cain. i didn't see too many tabbing him to win. i'd like to see a third fight.

this fight proved once again that you need more than just good stand up and takedown defense. a guy like JDS might be a beast, but as most saw tonight, he didnt have that plan b or c when his striking wasnt enough.

Wow I must say I'm shocked . This was nothing I expected. The fight going the distance also cost me quite a bit of money which is never fun! But ya wow JDS looked horrible. I never expected Cain to take him down never mind knock him down! It seemed once Cain dropped and hurt him JDS was in defeat mode, before then he was stuffing the take downs like nothing but once he got hurt he looked horrible. Also Cain's cardio didn't look all that as everyone keeps saying, he should have finished him easily. But ya good win for Cain , I am still in shock! So I guess we'll be seeing Cain vs Overeem!

Everyone's got a game plan till they get hit in the face. lol JDS was never the same after he got rocked in the first. Holy shit, what about the Lauzon/Miller fight???? I love both of these guys. Great fight. I can't believe no one stopped that fight with all the blood. Crazy.

honestly, these guy cardio looked worse than what overeem showed versus werdum. Was understandable for cain, as he was very active the whole fight, but jds looked like a zombie 3 mintes into the fight

Didn't watch the card, but just reviewed video of the results.

Surprised at the main event and a few other results. I was expecting Dos Santos pretty easily even if it went the distance.

It's more obvious in mma because it happens more often, but this is just one more example of why I hate people who fail to appreciate how a result in one fight doesn't mean that "the same thing would happen 1000 times out of a 1000" or "well, he might have been taking PEDs, but it had nothing to do with landing the punch that mattered".

Unfortunately, I think juice-fuck Overeem matches up better with Velasquez than Dos Santos. Hope I'm wrong.

I agree, though I expected Velasquez to take JDS down, I thought it was just a matter of time before he'd get caught agains. Basically, JDS looked like a toughman contestan, Velasquez didn't look that hot either but it was more than enough.

personally, it was a terrible night for me prediction wise. Nearly got them all wrong

Wow; I picked Cain to win but I am really surprised at how easy it was.

Yeah man, that first round won the fight for Miller IMO. I am a Lauzon fan too. Love that kid. No quit and almost pulled off a last second sub.

Costa Phillipou impressed me as well. I didn't give him much respect coming into this fight. Blew me away he is on a 5 fight win streak in the Octagon. This kid needs to be matched up for a title contention type fight. He deserves it.

Leben is my boy, but he just looked slow. Brunson was there to KO.

I'm not an Okami fan, but he took it to Belcher. A fight with him and Phillipou could be good.

What really suprised me with JDS was how easy he was to hit. I didn't expect that.

I don't know how many caught the prelims, but man did Michael Johnson look bad to me. On the other note, I'm a fan of Erik Perez. I wanna see this kid get a bigger challenge.
