I'm going to go out on a limb and pick Cormier. His wrestling is good enough to negate Cain's and, to me, Cormier just looks completely natural in the stand up. His punches are fluid, he has solid footwork and he has good power.
Yeah it could create an interesting situation a few fights down the road. Spring 2014, Cormier and Cain coaching against each other on TUF... :giggle:
They will never fight. Cain apparently literally cried when somebody asked about the fight. HE CRIED saying he would never fight him. HE CRIED ! Cormier already said he will move down to 205 so this fight is not happening. Unless Cain fucks Comier's wife or something..
That literally made me choke laughing. If that's true, Cain's a big sissy but don't tell him I said it.
How tall is Comier ? He seems kinda short with small reach. If so Jones would probably just peck away at him for 5 rounds.
No way, even if it cost Cormier the fight, he would press. No way would he allows Jones to peck away. Jones would have a fight on his hands. This is a good fight. Mark my words.
I doubt Cormier gets down to 205. This dude suffered kidney failure from cutting down to 211 in the 2008 Olympics. And he wasn't coming down from 235-240 like he would be now. It's a nice dream but I don't see it happening.
cormier wrestled at 197 in college. he lost to cael sanderson in his junior year i think. anyways, cain's always been a heavyweight. not sure who wins, but in terms of skills, i'd say they're about even. cormier's wrestling might be a bit more dynamic though.
Not only are they training partners, Carmier is Cain's wrestling coach. They are never fighting. This is not like some of the other BS claims about not fighting teammates. These guys train together every day, they aren't just in the same camp.
