There is an interview out there of him saying he was very close to making it. That time last year he met with Lesnar and where he said it went horribly wrong apparently he was lying and it went great and Lorenzo even met up with Fedor and they were very close to doing that fight in Dallas Texas but Fedor's dad died and Fedor decided he doesn't wanna have anything to do with fighting anymore. I am not sure if he's telling the truth or not . He talked about this when talking about expending into the Russian markets which kinda in itself seems like he's just sucking up to the Russians. I just find it hard to believe that Brock who got his ass kicked 3 times in a row would headline against Fedor who got his ass kicked 3 times in a row(against the last notable competition he fought) and headline a stadium event nevertheless. But who knows.
I don't see Dallas TX, but don't kid yourself, Lesnar/Fedor would sell. I think the UFC really needs to expand into Russia. Waaaaay bigger talent pool that Great Britain and Russia has a love for combat sports.
