Canelo just tweeted this. It should be a good fight.

Good fight...Ginger just needs to keep his hands on Trout. Cotto had the right strategy, but his size and usual second half of the fight stamina fuck that plan up. Trout so called "skills" are overated...Ginger can't go for the KO with every punch..just touch him up soften him for the later rounds. Don't go in there throwing bombs early cause he will get caught by Trout southpaw left hand.

I have to give props to Canelo for finally picking a live opponent.

He probably didn't have much choice, it was the road to Mayweather.

Good fight, I'm not sure who wins.

I'm looking forward to a few fights coming up.

Solid little stretch. I'm even intrigued by Cloud/Hopkins.

    I got Trout via UD.

I'm quite surprised they went for this fight.

Agreed, I don't think anybody would have been too harsh on Canelo for not taking it. High risk, low reward. Kind of like a newer, much poorer version of Mosley-Wright.

I'm even looking forward for the Daniel Ponce DeLeon vs Jayson Velez on March 2. Velez comes from brutalizing Salvador Sanchez II, though the mexican was crap, he was the favorite to win that bout. DeLeon always has problems with boxer-punchers and Velez is a very patient boxer-puncher. It will be another interesting Mexico vs Puerto Rico clash.

I'm pretty sure that fight was post-poned, if not cancelled.

I'm all for the best fighting the best. And that's decided by who beats whom. Nontheless, Canelo/Cotto would've been a far better fight than we're gonna see between Canelo and Trout.

Unlikely. I'm actually rooting for the Le Ginge for once, but Trout is bigger and a better boxer. Seems to have better stamina too. Trout by UD.

The ginger is better than most think. Trout is getting whooped.

I'll be surprised if this fight actually comes off. I think Canelo will likely fight someone else, and Trout will end up, "injured."
