We had HBO commentators stateside for Johnson v Gurthrie. Reggie did move up to 175 but he seemed to put the weight on pretty good imo, plus that right hook was bang on the chin and perfectly timed I reckon most fighters that get caught with a shot like that at least hit the canvas as a result. It was one of those times tho when I made a pretty funny joke and kinda wished people from this forum had been around to appreciate it because no one else ever will haha
I didn't see that fight live on tv, but have seen the fight on youtube. Eurosport commentated on it. Johnson was timing that right hand well all fight imo as Guthrie was drawn into Johnson's type of fight imo too. Great KO.
Reggie has been working hard since being released from prison. He's training with Termite Watkins at Fighter Nation in Houston, and looks really good physically, so look for him to be back in the ring soon.
