Yes, Kell Brook injured his foot again and he won't be facing Devon. Devon tweeted earlier that he's in talks with Eddie Hearn and Purdy. Very bad matchup for Purdy though I think. He's a plodder and not a good one at that to be honest. If this is made I think Devon will win with ease. Purdy-Carson Jones was called off earlier this year also as Jones caught the flu.
I kinda feel bad for him though. I mean, it's not entirely his fault. A recurring foot injury. Must be frustrating.
When a Fight is Signed & Sealed, yet FAILS to Deliver, 3 Consecutive Times, it's Time to Nix the Idea of it Entirely.... REED:mj:
@EddieHearn: And @SpecialKBrook will remain No 1 mandatory challenger with the IBF.. Who fancies Purdy v Brook in September for the IBF strap!
I taught I saw a Purdy cat... Who is this guy Jimmy? I barely watch domestic boxing any more since the glory days of Viper Vanzie
Purdy's nothing special tbh. He's a big welterweight. He's claimed the British title before but has lost to guys like Peter McDonagh, Denton Vassell and Colin Lynes. He's also beaten some International guys who he's twice the size of.
