Can anyone make a case for Audley winning? Deontay is practically untested to date. Spoon fed, beating well overmatched opponents. Audley is more experinced but when he comes up against big heavyweights that can bang he gets plastered and Deontay is a big lad with power. Audley's going to have to keep away from that right hand of Deontay's but I just see Audley freezing again and being sparked out early. Perhaps he could time Deontay coming in with a big left. Deontay can be caught after all.

    Thoughts?

Tell Audley it is a three round fight and he has a legit shot. He looked very good (no joke) in the last prizefighter tournament. If he can find that confidence here, he is able to test Wilder. Wilder could be too good for him even then, perhaps even beat him easily, but if a confident Audley shows up, he is a legit step-up.

The reality is though that Audley faces a big puncher in an actual pro fight. In these situations he has ALWAYS frozen and gotten embarrassed. Nothing works for him: his punches lack sanp (if he throws them at all), he forgets to move his feet and begs to be knocked out. Wilder will do just that, probably in two rounds

I don't see Audley seeing round 2 if Wilder tries even a little bit to get rid of him. The longer Audley is in the ring, the worse it will be for him. He won't win any 20 seconds of the fight.

What a stupid fight to take if you're Wilder. I mean Audley got DESTROYED in seconds by Price and Price got DESTROYED by an awkward punch from a 40 something year old. It's a lose / lose fight for him. I'm pulling for Audley as I always love an underdog story and Wilder is way too cocky for somebody as raw and untested as himself. Plus Wilder ain't going far in his career anyway. Why? Simple, he's an American Heavyweight. This ain't the 90s anymore kids.
