    Chad Dawson (31-2, 17 KO's) vs. Adonis Stevenson (20-1, 17 KO's)

    - NOT the Safest of Opponents for Dawson, Coming Off the Embarrassing Loss to Ward...If the DISpassionate Chad Dawson Shows Up, Stevenson Could Pull an Upset...

    Yuriokis Gamboa (22-0, 16 KO's) vs. Darleys Perez (28-0, 19 KO's)

    - Perez has a GLOSSY Record, but he's NEVER Fought Anyone like Gamboa...Gamboa will Do a # on Him & RE-ENERGIZE his Career...

    Marcos Maidana (33-3, 30 KO's) vs. Josesito Lopez (30-5, 18 KO's)

    - Best ACTION Fight of the Weekend...BOTH Guys have LOST to the Best Opponents they've Faced & NEED a Big Win Here...Should Be VERY Entertaining for as Loooooooooong as it Lasts....

Cool card. Stevenson is nothing spectacular, but everybody has a chance to outwork Dawson. Hopefully Chad learned from the Ward fight and finally realizes that punching is not always that bad of an idea.

I have never seen Perez but considering that he has gone full time in his latest fights and gone down often, the safe bet is that Gamboa will dethrone him with ease.

I pick Maidana, but as you said, it should be fun while it lasts

I think Josesito has a good chance to beat Maidana. The guy is damn tough, him might just wear Maidana out.

I know. Maybe it's just me but it seems every time Gamboa is set to fight on a card something happens to make it fall apart. Maybe i just notice it more because i enjoy watching him fight. Pisses me off more because he's not exactly a young guy or one fight away from a Pacquiao or Mayweather type payday.

Should be a fun slugfest while it lasts. I think Maidana stops him around the 6th or 7th.

lopez is tough. we can't forget his win in a vicious fight against ortiz and the fact maidana hasn't really proven himself at 147 (though neither has lopez save for the ortiz fight).

I'm going with Lopez. He's tough, game, and has more skill than Maidana.

Maidana-Lopez isn'T on this card, it's on the Angulo-Lara one though.

Stevenson-Dawson : I hope Stervenson wins as he was alway's overlooked here and could open up some interesting matchup. Not that I hate, or even dislike, Dawson, but he's not the type to make fun fights while Superman is. Still, you gotta go with the xp and boxing skills of Dawson.

Gamboa-Perez : I never head of this dude so I expect he was brought in as a showcase. Gamboa really needs to start fighting name opponents. He isn't getting any younger

Maidan-Lopez : Should be exciting, great matchup on paper. I will slightly favor Maidana as Lopez doesn't have much punch wich usually hurt in a dogfight, but an upset wouldn't surprise me much.

Hard to beat Madaina if you don't have good defense. Yeah, Khan did it, but his offense is sort of a defense. Lopez is hittable and tough just like Soto Karass and the result and fight should be similar--a good brawl with Maidana's power resulting in a ko win.

And I'd love to see Adonis catch Dawson with a KO shot early. Don't think it's likely though.

It's not something that would be very shocking. Dawson is coming off a one sided beating, his chin was never anything great to begin with, and Stevenson can punch. So when you factor in all that, Stevenson catching Chad is possible.

But Dawson has by far the better skills, and that SHOULD prevail.

Absolutely agree. I once thought he was the best prospect/contender in the sport, and was a real fan of watching him fight. Now he just seems like a big fucking waste, and a stupid cunt. He's like the 5'2, black Pavlik.

Gamboa looked dreadful in his last fight. Dropped by what was, for all intents and purposes, a bum. Hard to take him seriously after that and the quality of his opposition doesn't seem to be rising.
