If Broner gets past Paulie (and I'm 99.99% sure he does), Schaefer has said that a Broner-Maidana fight is likely to get made. An interesting match up it would be. It would be a toe to toe tussle.

We'd see how good Broner's chin is. Anyone give Maidana a good shot at beating Broner?

First off, Chafer is a dirtbag.

Secondly, will Broner fight him at 147? Of course not. That would be like Henry Armstrong, way too retro, way too risky. It would be like Ray Robinson getting put on his arse by a much heavier Jake LaMotta, and don't nobody got time for that today.

This is going to be at 140. Probably scheduled for 6 rounds. Headgear and Vests. With no scoring for bodyshots.

I think if Broner has a chin, any chin, he wins. We have to remember that the Masher King Khan nearly took this Maidana out with a single body shot. Doing that to Judah after five rounds is one thing, but if you are really at the races, you don't get stopped on one body shot by Khan. Willie Limond didn't. Michael Gomez didn't. In fact they both had Khan on the mat.

Right now I would fancy Broner, I would also have to see where the fight is hosted and who the officials are. If that ref that did Peterson vs Khan is involved then it could be tasty.

I think Broner would beat the Hell outta Maidana.

If he has a chin. Khan is a leggy sort who can leap backwards as amateurishly as he does forwards. He has better each than Broner and probably just as much leg speed and hand speed. And Maidana eventually found him. If Broner tries that shoulder roll shit on the ropes then he will open up his body to attacks.

Right now, we don't know about Broner. But he has any of the intangibles, then he can win this.

I was surprised how easy Broner was hit in his fight against Gavin Rees.

And if the tiny Rees managed to land those shots, then Maidana will too, only he hits much harder.

Could be a really interesting matchup, I would like Maidana to win and shut up Broner and his copycat Mayweather talk.

The Question is, Will Maidana Get the CHANCE to Test Broner's Chin???...

Like Most BIG Punchers, Maidana has SUSPECT Punch Resistance @ Best...Broner Could Very Well Get Maidana Out of there Early Doors, but REED Is HOPING for a Chin Check or 2 1st....

Broner is fairly easy to hit. So like Irish said, it depends on his chin. Is his chin is solid, he wins easily.

Even in his ManCrushing, Dick Riding WET Dreams, Broner Will NEVER Be as UNHITTABLE as Floyd..."However", Broner IS Capable of Playing Defense BETTER than he has in his Last Couple Fights...

Broner's NOT Bad @ Shoulder Rolling, he MOVES his Head, he BENDS @ the Waist Quite a Bit & he's FULLY Capable of Utilizing his LEGS to Create Distance, if the Incoming is Tooooooooooo Much...He's NOT a "Stay-in-the-Pocket-@-All-Costs" Kind of Fighter, by Any Means...

Broner-Maidana IS Intriguing, but Broner HAS to be a HUGE Favorite, by KO, No Less...
