I got Broner by TKO mid to late. I think Paulie will try to win the first 2 rounds while Broner adjusts to him. Then Broner starts landing shots and stops a game Paulie in round 7 or 8.

Did you see Paulie's last fight? He looked horrible against Cano. Maybe Paulie survives through 12 but even if he wins a couple rounds he will take a beating overall.

He's been thicker than Paulie all along, and not just at the presser.

We'll see if Broner can adjust to different styles of fighters at the higher weight-class after this.

He fought a really stupid fight against Paulie. All stalking, fighting like Paulie couldn't hurt him (which he couldn't)...........but not adjusting to not being able to hurt Paulie either.

He almost gave away too many rounds acting like an egotistical asshole in the ring, who could knock Paulie out with one punch whenever he wanted to.

Nah, he's just not very good. He doesn't have much skill or ring IQ, or movement - he's just good at throwing nice, crisp counter shots from his shitty Floyd copycat stance.

The worst part is he's copying the style of older Floyd. He should be fighting like a young man. He's 23.

Exactly. He's fighting more like the Toney esque later Floyd, and still only managing a split decision over Malignaggi :atu:

What I like about old fighters is sneakiness, experience and craft - what I like about young fighters is sheer unadulterated energy and explosiveness. Broner has neither.

I think Broner struggles with his stamina, that's why he fights in bursts. Too many twinkies probably. Hopefully we see him fight more aggressively in his next fight. When Paulie pissed him off we saw Broner lose it and let his hands go. Much better to see him fight when he's pissed.

He simply doesn't have the talent to fight like the early 20's Floyd.

The handspeed, the reflexes, the footspeed, Floyd had it in spades over Broner.

No doubt. I didn't mean to say he should be fighting like a young Floyd. He should be fighting like a young man.
