A Garcia-Judah rematch is in talks for the fall. The FUCK is the point of that? Garcia whupped Zab's old ass and won going away, the Hell is there any interest in a rematch for?

Garcia and pops don't want it with Lucas. They were pulling for Peterson to win, cause they wanted that fight. After Lucas destroyed Peterson, Danny had a look on his face that said he was fighting back pissing himself.

I don't wanna see a Garcia-Judah rematch. No way. Garcia did have a look on his face that told me "fuck that shit!". Garcia's more likely to fight Broner next than Matthysse.

Smart move by Team Garcia. They know Danny was going to get KNOCKED OUT. His style is all wrong for Matthysse. Danny would have had to fight a PERFECT fight which he isnt capable of doing. As for a Judah rematch it's pointless.

Well lets all vote for Lucas to fight Broner. Lucas should have his own side poll for what round he ko's Broner in.

This was one of those rare fights where it would have been number 1 vs number 2 in their weight class where both guys are in there primes, these fights usually = the best fights; Corrales-Castillo, Morales-Barrera, Pacman-JMM, Marquez-Vasquez. This fight would have been on that level as well.

Despite Garcia's reaction at Lucas - Peterson, still pretty surprising to pull a blatant duck job.

I understand what your saying. Danny's chances of beating Matthysse are very low, But then again if you SAY your the best then you have to prove it.

Yeah, move the fuck on from the aging gate-keeper shit already. The Khan fight had its risks, no doubt. But, what are you going to prove with this matchmaking? He doesn't have to go right into the Matthyse fight, but his stock is rising ever so slightly and this fight makes no damn sense.

I would be totally fine with that. Fringe boxing fans may look at that one at face value and think it's the easier path based on recent results. But, at least it's a legitimate live body who recently just unfortunately ran into a fucking buzz-saw.

I haven't seen why this thing fell off the tracks either. With all of the venom that gets thrown at Garcia for his ability, or lack thereof (I'm one of them who thinks Garcia fades away in the near future), I could see him taking a somewhat believable marquee name before he takes on a beast to save face...but Judah? A Khan rematch sounds more plausible to me, and that would be unnecessary.

Matthyse should have been the next move. He's on a hype train right now. If that pans out for him in his next couple of fights, Garcia will be mentally fucked at the prospect of that fight happening maybe one year from now.

I like Danny. He's a good if not great fighter. But if he ducks Mattyssee, he deserves all the criticism he's gonna get.

This is the worst part about having someone like Mayweather around. Why would Garcia want to risk a potential lottery fight?

A loss to Mathysse costs him more than a belt and a few brain cells.

He has proven he is a good fighter...............actually he is more competent..than good. Like few have stated you don't want to fight Matthyssee...okay but at least fight someone new and fresh. The Morales rematch was unnecessary and so is a Judah rematch.

Same thing with the HW division. Wait for the King{s} to die and then fight over the throne and the crowns. Fury won't fight Haye or Price....Haye only wants lucrative fights....why risk anything when the good stuff is going to be all there for the collecting down the line.

It's why I think Khan is sitting pretty...if he can beat Alexander. He's dumb enough to fight anyone and they are scared enough to look bad not wanting to fight him.

    Yeah. Exactly.

It's not even just about picking up the pieces at HW. You want the Klitschko fight for one big check.

These welterweights don't want to pick up pieces. They want the Mayweather lottery.
