I understand the concept of not wanting to overrate an unproven fighter, absolutely. I'm always a bit hesitant to get caught up in the hype before a guy is really tested, and I generally tend to pick the more experienced guy in Good Aging Fighter Vs Young Gun matchups.

That's not my issue at all, my issue is comparing him to LeMoo stylistically, and ability wise.

LeMoo is like a fucking caveman compared to Gaybox. Like I said, to me it's akin to comparing Marquez to Angulo.

My point is even if Gaybox turns out to NOT be an elite fighter afterall, Gaybox is technically on another level to LeMoo, and I don't see any similarities stylewise.

If Macklin loses (and I'm pretty sure he will), then there are some cracking domestic fights to be made against the likes of Murray and Barker. Heck, even if Macklin loses to GGG and Barker beats Geale then Macklin could get a shot at Barker for the IBF belt.

I love REED, but it is a downright bizarre comparison.

Like I said, they are literally worlds apart. Even if Golovkin proves to be not as good as Martinez, he's still 100 times better than that fucking basic, sloppy bum LeMoo.

I'm not entirely sold on GGG yet either but Macklin is tailor made for him; game, come-forward and completely limited - only in this era of absolutely abysmal middleweights (people whinge about HW but seriously, MW is an absolute shithole right now) would Macklin be anywhere near a bunch of title shots. I expect him to kop a real hiding here and be gone inside six rounds.

The only way Macklin wins this fight is if he tries something different.

    Hut loves Pirog.

Weird the way he just completely dropped off the radar after destroying Jacobs though.

Plus I have an unashamed bias for fighters who try to move their head/slip instead of earmuff. Earmuffings for maricons.:hump:

Rees-Crolla up next. Paul Smith's the new British super-middleweight champ. Scott Quigg back with a bang.

I always knew that, deep down, Willie Nelson was black.

It seems the copious volumes of shit he has been smoking have had no ill effect on his punching levels.

Could be a new Paul Williams!

Nelson wants to go to the body, both sides, now, but his opponents power is always on his mind.
