Abraham is/was a really tough bastard but i think that probably works to his detriment here. Abraham could crack though and we haven't seen Golovkin getting hit by big punchers yet.
Yup. I think if GGG can handle AA's power, he beats the shit outta him. Far more skilled and accurate, and can maintain a higher workrate. Higher ring IQ as well.
I think Arabham would take the beating of his life, and be a walking bag of puss with gloves by the end of the fight.
Basically. UNLESS there's something wrong with GGG's chin. I doubt it though. These short, compact Russian fighters usually have very good chins. AA was overrated, but he was a helluva lot better than Macklin, so it'd be by far GGG's biggest test.
Yep, we obviously don't know about his chin, or even fighting spirit. It would be good to see him tested a bit soon. However, any decent punches he has been hit with have barely made him blink, plus he just seems like a natural born fighter, so I have a good feeling about his chin and heart.
Yeah, he seems to be the goods but this is boxing. There's been countless promising guys who have fallen apart. Golovkin seems to be very focused and has great level of concentration. He's not quite as stoic as a guy like Fedor, but seems to have a similar approach in that he knows exactly what needs to be done.
Abraham is gutsy, if nothing else, so the ability to ask the questions is there... but, assuming GGG has even routine resistance and heart for a good world-class fighter, his power and skill means he beats Abraham from pillar to post
