The GGG/Lemieux comparison makes me laugh out loud. I see what Reed is trying to say about body type, seek and destroy mentality, etc., but it ends at pale skin and high KO percentage. If John Ruiz was black, he and James "Bonehugger" Smith would draw the same parallels because they hold similarly.

But back to the topic, it's a really good question. GGG has this kind of power that doesn't always immediately concuss opponents (save for Ishiida), but the damage is always evident. Macklin's face was all fucked up after a brief affair and Gabe Rosado looked like he just went through a 40-round war with Edward Scissorhands.

Matthyse seems to have the better one-punch KO power at this point, but the gap between he and Golovkin in the punching department is thin at best. With that said, it seems like Lucas is trying to end it with one shot, whereas Golovkin KO's you with a punch that was meant to be in the middle of combination.

My answer is: I don't fucking know, but I can't wait to find out the answer in the coming years after these two continue to fill the graveyard.

So is Likeness in PHYSICALITY a SIMILARITY or Not???...If 2 Fighters are HellBent on ELIMINATING the Threat in Front of them as Quickly as Possible, is THAT a SIMILARITY or Not???...If 2 Fighters have Abnormally HIGH KO Ratio's, is THAT a Similarity or Not???...

Some of You PSUEDO Keen Eye BULLSHIT Artists are Caught Up in Who Throws Punches @ Acute or Obtuse Angles & are Ignoring a SURFACE Similarity...Newsflash, if there's even a Surface Similarity, Saying 'They're Not the LEAST Bit Similar" Is an INaccurate Statement...

LOL. Inaccurate is comparing David fucking Lemieux to Gennady Golovkin, plain and simple. Chill the fuck out Reed, I see what you're saying, but you're off on this one. If my aunt had a cock she'd be my uncle...SURFACE SIMILARITIES minus the gender gap.

I guess I'm a bullshit artist because I don't agree with you, but the comparison doesn't make any sense, bro. Go have a beer, smoke something nice, PLEASE replace that worn out Caps Lock key and stop yelling at me. I have PTSD, Ok?

First of All, what REED ORIGINALLY Said about Golokin, Probably 4-5 Fights AGO was "Let's CURB Our Enthusiasm, for All we Know, he Could Be the Next David LeMeiux"...

Considering WHEN REED Said it & the CLEAR SURFACE SIMILARITIES btwn the 2, it's Offbase to Hold that Analogy AGAINST REED, a Year & 4-5 Fights LATER...

Now You've Got SMARMY Motherfuckers on Here w/that, "They're NOT the LEAST Bit Similar Shit"...Sorry, if there's a SURFACE Similarity, which is All REED EVER Attributed to Golovkin & LeMeiux in the 1st Fucking Place, that Statement is INaccurate...

It has NATHAN to Do w/Agreeing or DISagreeing w/REED...It's About Taking the INTENT of YEAR OLD Analogy & Going Left Field w/the Shit....

Four to five posts ago, you're still defending the shit.

Stick with 4-5 GGG fights ago and I can understand the analogy without argument. Time changes things son, it's okay to admit when you were wrong. Calling me a smarmy motherfucker without substance doesn't hold any weight in the argument. I'll reason on something you said a long time ago, but you have to be one of the most defensive people I have ever come across in all my years of frequenting these types of boards.

I triple-dog-dare you to defecate on my lawn.

MWS has Been Reminding REED of this Shit Since PRIOR to You Entering the Fray...& Xplosive Made a Smart Ass Remark YESTERDAY (Again, PRIOR to YOu Entering the Fray)...Not Really Sure HOW or WHY You've Made this about You, When You're INCONSEfuckingQUENTIAL to the Matter @ Hand....

If REED is "Defending" Anything, it's the Same SURFACE Similarity that HASN'T Changed...@ NO Point has REED EVER Delved Deeeeeeeeeeper Into a Comparison of Golovkin/LeMeiux than THAT...The Surface Similarity IS, WAS & Will ALWAYS BE...

We can start an entirely new post on your fucking "homegirl" Stephen A. Smith "light" bullshit.

But for the time being, let's keep it at what you said, if I entered late...so be it and I get it. You ladies go on with your business since I can respect joining a convo late and back out. Just so you know, I bought the same thesaurus at Barnes & Noble. Please continue to pontificate.

The caps lock key is used to toggle between outputting lower case and upper case letters. (also known as capital letters).

Fair enough brother. I embrace the Timberlake thing by the way, I'm starting to warm to you.

But in all seriousness, surface similarities do make sense sometimes, but then again you have the Couser-Tyson comparisons, you know. I entered late, so roll on with the topic.

All bullshit aside, what do you think about my comparison of Matthyse being more of a one-punch murderer vs. GGG being a combination puncher who knocks fools out mid combo?

Lemeiux reminds me more of a poor man's Matthew Hilton than he does GGG.

If there were any fighter TODAY similar to GGG, I guess it'd be Provo. Provo is the far less talented version of GGG.

when he fights martinez, maybe their boy friends will get in a spat and trade insults during the run up. ggg had some kind of partner with him on the way in who he hugged after. good for him i guess.
