I don't think he punched any harder than Ortiz... He's got zero high quality KOs on his ledger

It took him 8 rounds to get rid of Teddy Reid, a junior welterweight with a shaky beard

    Cintron would've knocked Berto out.

Even though Cintron had the power to hurt Berto, I question if he could finish him...

Berto for all his flaws has insane heart and he refuses to give up. Cintron has shown the contrary.

Of course Berto has more heart than even a roided up Ortiz and he still lost that fight...

This one would be fun while it lasted that's for sure.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that Cintron beat Angulo, which trumps ANY Berto win. "off" or not, even an "off" Angulo would have flattened Berto. Berto has waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more heart than Cintron, but it still doesn't change the fact that Cintron was better, and Berto wouldn't be able to handle Kerm's power.

Angulo drove across the country by himself the week of that fight.

Yeah, prime pre-cross country drive Angulo would have beaten Cintron

It doesn't matter when or where, Cintron has always sucked complete ass. He had a decent right hand and no more. He was not some HUGE puncher.

I can't fathom how anyone can possibly rate Cintron... he was terrible... easily as bad a fighter as Berto

Totally. There's very few fighters I would consider being 'bitches' (being they're fighters and all) but Cintron is one of them.

Kermit had a sound stance, generally kept his angles sound and could throw a 1-2 while staying 'safe'. Thats literally all he could do right and it still makes him better technically than squared up down the middle hyper-leap-amateur bum-bum machine Berto. Berto is purest poo.

Berto has his advantages as well... Far faster, far more courage and he could actually do something that resembled counterpunching (lean back from a right hand and fire a right uppercut in turn, which was quite effective) ... If fighting were just doing it "right", Amir Khan would have 20 losses by now, so would Berto. A good technician picks both of these yahoos to pieces, Cintron is no technician and he's one of the biggest pussies ever to be rated in the top 10

I know your joking but I agree, Cintron wasn't a bad fighter. He was winning vs Williams too (before he tried to bitch out a win). He beats Marquez, too big, too strong

I can't apologize for my biases. A technically awful guy who wins some fights with speed power or bravery is still just a technically awful guy to me. Winning isn't everything. Berto's an absolute dogs dinner of a fighter. Probably the worst guy to headline major TV fights ever.

Jones Senior? Maybe. However he did fight Hagler and although I never saw the fight I've never heard word of him jumping out of the ring.

He doesn't in any way suck any worse than Cintron did... Cintron was as sure a sign of the decline of professional prizefighting as any fighter I've seen

But you could've called that shit with Berto before you saw him lose.. before the Margarito fight, Cintron looked like he was alright.
