Of course not, Overeem should be in reconstruction mode, a guy like Rothwell or Nelson should be next for him. Barnett stock went through the roof with his performance, he completely owned a guy who was considered a staple of the UFC division for many, many years. No more can people claim he was overated. He should get a title eliminator in his next fight, probably vs Browne (well, Cormier hsould get the next shot, but for the shot after that or if Velasquez wins and Cormier doesn'T want to face him)

Slow down a bit, sunshine. That was Mir's 3rd straight loss. His better days are long behind him, and he should probably hang them up to be honest.

Barnett is still over rated, and a win against a shot Mir didn't do much to change that.

    Cormier already schooled Barnett anyway.

Nelson would b a fun match for Barnett.

Just give Overeem his candy back. That's like hiring the punisher but taking away his guns. Have Overeem fight strictly in Brazil, and look like a monster.

Barnett should fight Travis Browne for example. They are on the same level right now. Or big foot.

Stupid, stupid idea from Cormier. He was undefeated at hw, he's basically gambling his career because he doesn't want to fight his firend

I agree completely. And, he is a guy that actually has the tools to beat Cain on paper. But then again, maybe he knows from the gym that Cain is too much.

I also think it's a bad move to move down in weight. A really bad move.

It's possible that you are right about the gym, but I doubt that's the reason. Cain isn't that good and Cormier is too good for there to be a gotta-run-away gap between them. I'd pick Cormier straight up based on what I've seen, although I wouldn't be surprised if Cain won. I just think Comier has better hands and is a better wrestler.

I see it the same way on paper. Cormier's counter wrestling should keep it standing and I think Cormier has better hands.
