True. Apparently the missus forced one out 9 days ago after a very protracted {4 day} labour. Now, here on fightbeat we've got guys with sepsis doing 1000 pushups a day, but still, a 4 day labour is no joke. Then his {Burns} jaw gets rearranged in the 2nd round.......I'd wager a lot of cash on Burns beating him down in the rematch. BBC being the BBC by saying that "Beltran dominated Burns"....no he did not. He won, but he did not dominate, he seemed flummoxed when Ricky moved and boxed, and gave away the last two rounds.

 

I didn't realize Ricky had a missus/kid, I really did assume he was gay.

Anyway, a rematch is definitely in order. Burns will win.

 

Yep. And a big protracted labour, as the kids handsome Tim head must have been wedged up in there, refusing, like any proud Catholic, to be evicted at such short notice by brutal White Coats.Fair play to him.

Regarding the fight, Ricky can put right what went wrong a bit more than Beltran can. I am putting a lot on Ricky basically having a fucked head from the 2nd round on, because Ricky did look the shit in the first round.

 

I'm a Ricky fan and I thought he lost a close fight.

Just seen the x-ray of his jaw on his Facebook page, cleanly broken, so can now understand why he was holding cause that's not his style of fighting.

Fit and healthy he should easily outbox Beltran in a rematch, Beltran couldn't finish a guy that basically fought the whole fight with a broken jaw.

 

His jaw looks snapped clean in half.

 

Just heard an interview with Eddie Hearn, says it will need a metal plate to fix it, and he's not 100% sure Ricky can continue fighting??

 

It needs a titanium plate. I suspect the rest is Hearns talking bollox to embroider last nights events and puff up the rematch.........If Beltran can't stop Ricky when Ricky has a broken jaw, he can't stop him with titanium in his jaw. ::

Have to say the Beltran post-fight interview was good tv, sounds like he is a guy that has been on the wrong end of a few close calls, everybody was getting it!
