    Marquez KO'd Pacquiao at the same weight people said it was ridiculous for Floyd to fight him at. Only way you downplay this is if you say that Marquez didn't have his roids yet so it's not as meaningful.

    I might be wrong, in fact I'm probably wrong, but I though Hagler considered Monroe the only guy to legitimately beat him?

    On another note though, I've always been fascinated by these random guys with wins over great fighters. How cool must it be to be Clinton Mitchell ("yeah, I beat Bernard Hopkins, first guy to do it actually. Kicked his ass"). Rustico Torrecampo was the first guy to beat Pacquiao and I believe he's now doing time for murder, I doubt anyone fucks with him. Amazing how careers can go on such drastically different paths.

    No, JMM was on some serious stuff in the Pac fight.

    He made Lance Armstrong and Barry Bonds look like droopy eyed armless children, as Carlos Esteves would say.

    But I doubt history will remember it as such.


    When people look back Mayweather clowned JMM in a lopsided welterweight match, JMM would then go on to have an extraordinary finish to his career at welterweight..


    Rather than, Floyd beat up a blown up LW who started juicing and became an epic WW capable of taking out 95 percent of the division.
