It's been a fightbeat tradition and a long time since we've done one. Come over folks, have some crow pie and a cup of coffee.

The crow fest should be for the Garcia-Matthysse fight. Including me, ended up going with Lucas as well.

Danny really showed a great chin and some boxing skills.

I will eat my crow. I predicted that Mayweather would "beat the freckles off this kid."

Canelo's freckles were in fact visibly noticeable after the fight.

I picked the wrong guy in both fights so I'll eat crow, but (and of course there's an excuse) I expected Canelo to win contreversially and gave Garcia a very solid chance.

And I think Floyd's the better looking guy.

I picked Matty to KO Garcia but had a feeling Garcia was going to surprise again.

Yeah more crow should be for Garcia against Lucas. Most of us were confident Lucas would win. Danny can fight that's for sure.

I picked Floyd UD and Matthyssssse to KO Garcia, but I thought pre fight that Garcia was a very live underdog.

I will eat my crow for both fights. I thought that Lucas was gonna win and I thought that Canelos size youth power and father time was gonna be too much for Mayweather. I'll Holla 5000

I wasn't scoring the fight, but I thought Canelo was doing okay and better than the punch stats indicated.

I've seen fights like that get scored to the 'canelo' guy and it's not really rare. So, while I picked Floyd UD and think he won, I don't think the draw score was ridiculous.
Then again, I suppose it may be easy enough to prove me wrong by picking specific rounds that had no way of being scored for Canelo. Like I said, I wasn't scoring the fight.

REED'll NEVER Like Angel Garcia, but REED'll No Loooooooooooooonger Allow that to Cloud THE FACT that Angels Son, Danny, is a DAMNED GOOD Fighter...

Garcia SCHOOLED Mattttthhhhhyyyyysse Last Night...Absolutely BATTERED the Right Side of his Body...REED Thought Matttttthhhhyyyyysse Would WIN w/Out Toooo Much Fuss, but Danny Basically DOMINATED him Down the Stretch...

REED was WRONG about Danny Garcia...

I really considered picking Garcia. 8/9 times out of 10 the better boxer beats the better puncher but for whatever reason I still picked Lucas.

    :pathetic:

The only crow I'm going to eat is for Garcia winning, I had the fight going the distance as everybody underrated Danny boy's defense and chin

I kept veering towards Danny (in my mind, hbahabhab habahb) because of his extra skill and smarts, but couldn't shake Lucas looking like a beast in recent fights, and Garcia looking a bit vulnerable against old Judah.

But Garcia simply looked like the better fighter last night, and would surely win a rematch too.

I fucked up the Canelo pick for sure. Was hoping he'd use more body work earlier and start getting to Floyd. The true test of my confidence was the money I put down. I gamble on everything and the fact I didn't put a dime down on this fight tells you I was mainly wishful thinking.

I predicted a draw in the prelim. I thought they were pretty evenly matched. I was actually surprised to hear people here saying Garcia has only once chance and giving him no respect. Garcia is a hell of a fighter.

I don't eat animals either but I'll admit I was wrong.

This is an eat crow thread and all of you dipshits are criticizing me for a qualified and vague acknowledgment that I am probably wrong on something? There ain't no probably wrong with most of the other posts in here.

    Carry on.

Speaking of dipshits...if you even thought for a moment that the draw scorecard wasn't ridiculous then you need to find a new sport to watch...oh, wait...look up stats about.

Why did people think Garcia could not fight? My biggest knock against him was how damn mechanical he can be, but he's not soft and has a bit of pop and grit.

The Draw Scorecard WAS "Ridiculous", mikE...

There's Absolutely NO Case to Be Made for a Draw...NONE Whatsoever...Scoring 3-4 Rounds for Canelo is Pretty Much IMPOSSIBLE, Nevermind 5 or 6...
