Diaz fought a FOTY against Marquez and was even with him after eight rounds. Garcia probably hit harder than JMM but doesn't have nearly the same accuracy, speed and combination punching skills. Also, Diaz did defeat Katsidis and Freitas so it is not as if he had got trashed every time he faced a half decent puncher. Garcia probably wins, but Diaz wasn't nearly as bad as he is made out to be. Just the fact that he couldn't punch doesn't make him a can
Probably a pick'em, prime versus prime. Juan had no problem taking Mike Alvarado's shots and beat the living hell out of him. Danny is a a better fighter than Mike is, but not by a whole lot. There are a few weirdos here than run the guy down for whatever reasons, but if you have not been hit by him you can't say he can't punch because he can. There's a good possibility he is going to be my broadcast partner on a webcast next year, so if Xplosive would like to show everyone here how he can take a punch from a non-puncher like Juan, I can arrange it as all he has to do is sign a waiver and that's it.

I dunno if you were aware, but the person you're referring to is not a professional world class fighter. Against professional world class fighters, Juan Diaz sucks, is boring to watch, and can't punch worth a damn.
