Watching the Milderberg fight I really think Byrd might win:scared2::scared2: Somebody talk me down off the ledge.
Ali wins when Byrd finds himself amazed to be in with a big man faster of hand and faster of foot than himself On top of that Mildenberger fought in a completely different style and he was downed multiple times and stopped The odds of Byrd beating Ali are the same as the odds of Joey Gamache beating Roberto Duran at 135
come on, man:: are we really using THAT Ali as "70s Ali?" I was thinking more along the lines of the guy That beat George Foreman
Just what I quoted "The idea of a semi-decent heavyweight like Turd beating the best heavyweight of all time is comical"
The idea of a journeyman like Mildenberger giving peak Ali as many problems as he did pretty comical too.
Byrd would take rounds off a prime Ali and make his night awkward as hell. If there's two things Ali hated it was southpaws and negative counterpunchers who made him lead.
Ali would put his snake in Byrd's mouth and vag while Hut*Hut sat there at ringside, sobbing AND masturbating
Byrd would give ali fits I think. But eventually, the cream would came to the top, and he'd win a close but clear decision.
I usually agree with a lot of what you post, but you're off-base here. Mildenberger wasn't a journeyman. He was a contender in the middle/late 60s who was in the Ring Magazine Top Ten rankings each year from 1963 to 1967, held the European heavy title and had a win over Eddie Machen (who beat Jerry Quarry around the same time), a draw with Zora Folley, gave the 60's Ali one of his more difficult title fights (didn't come close to winning...but did better than many of Ali's other title victims), and was one of the fighters included in the WBA tournament (won by Jimmy Ellis) for the title they stripped from Ali.
