Roach was a dick for no reason. It's funny all the tough guys that jump out on that video. The one guy who should get kicked in the face is that little snake Elie Seckback. that little shit is milking this whole thing. He already spends 24/7 at the Garcia gym. But apparently Roach called him a fucking Jew so he is milking the moment.

 

What confuses me about this is I was always under the impression Ariza was part of Wildcard, and not someone that Pacquiao brought in seperately.

 

Manny has a penchant for surrounding himself with sleazy douchebags.

 

the best part of the whole thing is when manny turns up and he doesn't give a fuck at what happened.

not to mention how garcia says he admires roach when 5 minutes earlier he was saying in 15 years time he would be begging him for a job.

Roach has a history already with the Garcia camp AND Ariza. I'm sure that had something to do with this. Anybody else and Roach probably lets it slide if Manny's not there yet. The whole Garcia camp has been making fun of his Parkinson's for years and then they get offended because he goes "racial"? Fuck them!

Roach is no saint either, we all know that. I'm sure he knows Ariza was feeding Manny HGH and whatever else for a lot of years, but that's a little secret he's going to take to the grave...........or at least until Ariza pulls a Jose Canseco and throws everybody under the bus that he's supplied for the last couple decades.

He loves the media attention. He thinks its all about him and he's always trying to get all eyes on him.

FUCK FREDDY ROACH. I don't mock his illness, but as a person he's nothing more than an egomaniac that thinks because he trains Pacquiao and has gotten all these trainer of the year awards, that he runs boxing.

 

Roach has a chip on his shoulder, maybe BECAUSE of his disease and his upbringing. He's never been the type to roll over and "be the better man".

I don't know where people get this idea that he strikes a manipulative poor me, humble guy martyr pose.

Guy has Parkinson's........period. He's not tugging at your heart strings. He's never been afraid to let his inner asshole surface whenever possible. For example when HBO did that documentary on him, they showed him treating the women in his life like garbage on a regular basis.

I think he's a complicated dude. Interesting in a way, not sympathetic. Same way I find guys like Floyd and Bernard interesting, even if they are not always likable.

 

You're Right, Roach has NEVER Portrayed the "Poor, Pitiful, Saintly, Parkinson's Victim" Role HIMSELF...He's NOT Trying to Be Michael J. Fox, or even Muhammad Ali, for that Matter...But None of that EXCUSES Roach from INTENTIONALLY Being an ASS in this Particular Instance, Either...He SOUGHT Confrontation & Found a TRIVIAL Reason to Engage Team Rios....

 

Forgive me as I paraphrase Chris Rock, "It doesn't excuse him.........BUT I UNDERSTAND!".

I think Freddie probably feels like he owes team RIOS/GARCIA a few more of those "Get the fuck out of my gym, moments".

BTW I find the whole Garcia clan pretty compelling in their own right to. The inner clique, the outer sorta clique, the guys who are in there on a regular basis, the interlopers who go into his camp and don't really seem like they fit, like Donaire and others, the rivalry Roberto Garcia has with his brother.

 

I remember when Uncle Roger owned Roach at the pre fight press conference of the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight too.

But Roger basically cut Roach down right in front of the media with Roach a couple of feet away from him. Roger brought up how he used to own Roach in sparring back when they were both fighters and how he'd whoop his ass now and that Roach was a garbage ass trainer and Freddy Roach didn't do or say shit. He knew he was owned and he was humbled there.

Of course with Roger not in earshot, he'll talk shit like he typically does to the media.
