I don't recall a time when we had 3 super fun to watch Russian/Eastern Euro killers in 3 diff divisions like we have today: Kov, GGG, and Provo. All ruthless, brutal, power-punching killers. I think QUALITY wise, Provo is a tier below GGG and Kov, but my question is, which one are you the biggest fan of? I think PERSONALITY wise, it's hard to dislike GGG. He seems like a legitimately nice, humble man who only turns into a killer when the bell rings. Provo, and Kov seem to be ruthless, sadistic SOB's, esp Kov, which is surprising considering he already killed a man. You'd think that would have spooked him, and made him more hesitant, but NOPE! He's still just as ruthless as ever. Something about that intrigues me, therefore I'd have to say I like Kov the most. I like Provo and GGG about equally. But I'm a big fan of all 3. Oh, Gradovich is fun to watch as well, but he's more of a volume puncher. He doesn't have the devastating power that Kov, GGG, and Provo have.

GGG is the best technician of the three and will probably prove to have the most replay value

Provo is the most raw and fun live, but probably has the least replay value

    Kovalev is the happy medium

    All three are must-see

, just kidding, fuck that fag.

Out of these I'd say GGG narrowly before Kovalev. Golovkin's skill is as big an asset with him as his punch, his accuracy and ability to cut off the ring are extraordinary

Also, if you like the Russian bangers, keep in mind Artur Beterbiev's name. He just turned pro (3-0 3 KOs) and is a former amateur World and European champ. He didn't do well in Olympics but in there he fought at heavyweight while he is actually a lt. heavy. As an amateur he also KOed Sillakh in two rounds

Yeah I like Gaybox the best (and he is teh absolute cutest) and I do also think he's the best of the 3, with Kovalev a close second.

But all 3 are a great addition to boxing. Not generally a fan of Eastern Euro fighters at all, but all 3 of these guys are legit and very watchable.

Tszyu, Arbachakov, and Nazarov were the first Soviet trio. Thanks to Cool Vince, Too Slap being a bitch, and eye problems, none of them reached the top of the p4p lists, but each broke into the top 10.

The two best heavies have been Soviets since Lewis retired and we had that short window where all 4 champs were eastern bloc guys. Both guys, at their bests, were as difficult as any fighter in the world to beat and that's a p4p-worthy criteria.

You add up Floyd and Pacq getting past their primes and either GGG or Kovalev beating Ward, it's conceivable that we'll have a consensus top 3 p4p consisting of GGG, Kovalev, and Lomachenko in some order in the future, or at least 3 of the top 4 if Rigondeaux continues to be Rigondeaux.

Anyway, some of this is just the fact that they are getting more tv time in the USA. HBO says look to the East and a lot of people turn and look to the East. Some of it is that GGG and Kovalev are fucking beasts, too.

I like all 3 of them, but I was batshit crazy when Provodnikov won his title, so I guess it's him.

I like Provodnikov, though he's the least skilled of the three. There will always be good Russian and Kazakh boxers, but a successful Mansi boxer is a rarity.

I was really surprised to hear he is half Korean. He looks Eurasion, but Koreans, even half Koreans tend to have distinctly Asian faces, more than Gaybox does.

He looks Kazakh to me, just much, much cuter than your average Kazakh.
