Baker's IBF MW title at stake

Real barn-burner first round I must say

DOWN AGAIN and I suspect Sturm is wearing Margarito's plaster wraps as he wins by 2nd round TKO

Baker Barker's hip went but he was getting tagged by some big shots throughout.

One of the rare occasions when the fix probably was in, in Germany. Barkers a fool to have taken that fight with a guy like Spurm in Germany., Spurm can't crack a fucking egg and took a lot from Geale and Martinez, now all of a sudden Spurm is hurting him?

That's a bit of a shocker, I have to say

    Anybody predict Sturm by KO?

Not in the predos league. I picked Sturm to win but not in that fashion.

You really think the fix was in? Let's not forget that Baker Barker was badly hurt from that Martinez knockout and Geale took a bit out of him too. Some saying that Barker fought the wrong type of fight.

The Martinez KO was in the 11th round. Macklin, a dumb truck, needed 12 rounds of being countered before he was hurt.

I was surprised the Bakerrrrrr camp were treating it so casually. Sturm is no great shakes but he's capable and Barkerrrrrr is pretty average. Didn't see a 2nd round stoppage on the cards though.

what a bad call by his corner to threw in the towel as Barker didn't seemed out to me. Shocking result though, seems kind of flukish as Sturm is usually a soft puncher.

It was a shot above the ear - like Ottke vs. Mundine. So shut up with the plaster stuff. Barker could have fought on but signaled to his corner that his hip was hurt.

That being said, I was shocked, too at the result - but Barker seemed fine with taking a million on short night's work. Sturm didn't even have to fix anything.

Looked like a temple shot more than anything... It doesn't scream "loaded gloves" to me, tbh

Sturm was on top in that second round. All "ifs" and "buts" really.
