He was wobbled fairly bad in the Sanchez and Barrera fights. Not close to being KOd or anything but a little rubbered.

 

Especially compared to Khan and Broner, who are only above average talents by TODAY'S standards only. There's literally COUNTLESS fighters in history more talented than Broner and Khan. Not a whole lot of featherweights with more raw talent than Hamed.

He got stung plenty of times. He didn't like getting hit much. Never badly hurt no, but he was stung even by guys like Ingle and Medina, and looked pretty hurt to me against both Kevin Kelley and Augie Sanchez and Barrera, more than just being off balance.

His speed is horrendously overrated. His raw handspeed was nothing special at all for a featherweight, he was just good at throwing untelegraphed bombs from weird angles, that people didn't see coming.

 

Marquez would have beaten Hamed's ass worse than Barrera.

 

Adrien "The Problem" Broner lost recently, and people seem to be deriving pleasure from it.
