My boy REED sure does have it in for Triple Cute. First he's a similar fighter to LeMoo, then he was gunna get slapped about by Stevens, now he didnae even look impressive schooling Jr in sparring :kidcool:

I think what happened is brother REED was watching boxing and his wife walked into the room. She dropped what she was carrying and exclaimed "oooh who is that guy!?" Then she sat next to REED and kept asking questions about GGG whilst pretending to be interested in the boxing aspect.

Now she's reading 50 shades of GGGrey.

Well I HEARD he dropped multiple HEAVYweights in a 20 rounds sparring session. With the heavies coming in FRESH every 4 rounds. TWO couldn't continue according to the source.

Compared to THAT he doesn't look TOO impressive against Chavez! AGAIN ONLY in relation to what i've HEARD!

Nah, REED Never Said ANY of That...REED Said to PUMP the Brakes on GGG Because for All we Knew, "he Could Be Another David LeMeiux"...REED Certainly NEVER Said Stevens was Gonna Slap him Around, REED Said Stevens would Be the "Best Opponent" GGG's Faced, Which he Was...Lastly, IN CONTEXT w/a Guy Saying GGG "KNOCKED Kovalev OUT COLD" in Sparring, THEN Seeing the Chavez Jr. Footage Afterwards, it Made that Session LESS than Impressive...If a GGG Can KO a Bigger, Certified MONSTER like Kovalev, Jr. Shouldn't have Lasted More than a Round or 2...

Maybe Chavez' chin is just better. Or it could have been a a perfectly timed shot, where Kov was competitive until then. Thoroughly outboxing a fella can also be more impressive than what could have been a lucky shot for all we know. Plus we all know sparring stories are often bullshit.

GGG has received a lot of hype and it's cool and understandable not to be on the bandwagon. But the way you clinge onto that "but that guy told me and because of that it's not impressive" could let you come across as a bit on the stubborn side if we did not know better than that.

REED is Simply EXPLAINING WHY he Didn't Come Away Awed by the Chavez Jr. Footage...REED Even Stated, a COUPLE DAYS Ago, that On Its OWN, Yes the Sparring Footage is Impressive:scratcher:...

Does everyone else expect the p4p debate to be between Rigo and Golovkin, post-Floyd? If so will Golovkin be the first white bona fide p4p contender since Willie Pep? I can't think of a realistic once since then.

I think it will be more wide open than just those two.

As far as a white P4P number one? Yeah, you'd probably have to go that far back. There have been a handful of guys who could have made the spot with 1 or 2 more key wins but nobody I can remember was a realistic #1.

I'd describe him as white, tbh. If Spanairds and Italians are 'white' GGGs white.

Hut, by looking at him I agree. Kind of looks like one of those weird, flat faced Eastern Euros (just way, WAY cuter).

However, I didn't realise he's actually half Korean. So he could well be the first White Asian P4P guy :kidcool:

Bizarrely Tszyu is half Korean too. Half Korean Eastern Euros surely aren't that common, but alas, they are both Korean Eastern Euros :kidcool:
