Who wins in their primes? I think Tyson would still have difficulty with the huge height and reach factor. Vitali has a steel chin so it's impossible to say if Tyson can get him out of their quickly. Do you think this would be a long dragged out affair? How would you see the fight going, REED? cdogg? Neil? Hut?
Tyson would knock him the F out and send him back to Germany Vitali would be nibbling nuetella by sunset
Tyson never knocked out any good tall fighters and Vitali is tough as a downy bull. If anyone's getting knocked out its Mike.
Tyson Would Leave Vitali w/Vibrating Vertebrae and a Vagina Smelling Visor, Vacationing in Victoria and Vienna, Vixenless, Selling Vaccums & Vases, Screaming "Viva Venezuela" by Valentine's Day...There's Really No Other PLAUSIBLE Outcome:hut:...
Like he easily destroyed Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker? Both of whom were 3" shorter than Valiti, no
This I think both fighters would land big bombs on each other....but by the middle rounds there will be a whole lot of clinching and very little punching Tyson wins a decision.
I'll go with this as well. Mike would lay waste to the younger Klitschko even post prison. (no, not the Tyson who "fought" McBride)
Tyson by decision as I think his speed would trouble Vitali, but the big guy is a rock, he'd win some rounds and definitely go the distance
Tyson didn't have problems with tall guys, he had problems with tall guys who clinched a lot. And by "problems" I mean he didn't KO them early. Vitali doesn't clinch a lot and in any case he's a LOT slower than Tyson was in his prime. I think Vitali'd probably last the distance, but only just, and come out much the worse for it.
Wlad would take the perfectly engineered German turd of his, then make a dildo out of it and make Tyson feel like Desiree Washington in a hotel room
Never even mind that stuff....Vitali in 1998 before the shoulder injury was fast and damn hard to hit. Herbie Hide, for all his flaws, had a rare blend of size and speed, and couldn't get close. Mike would be the favourite, sure, but Mike after a few rounds of not having things his own way was not quite Mike.
Hide didn't have size on his side, plus he won the first round against Vitali. Doesn't mean much obviously but he got closer than most did outside of Lewis and Sanders.
Nah man, he struggled period. 4 of the 5 guys who saw the final round vs Mike between 86-89 were >6'5; and thats 4of the 5 guys that tall he fought. Vitali was better than any of them (Tucker is a discussion) or certainly way bigger/stronger.
It is truly unbelievable how overrated Vitali is. For all the talk of his supposed "granite" chin, Lewis (a FAT, OLD Lewis I might add) was on his way to getting Klit outta there. He had HURT Vitali with an uppercut, and had him winded and sliced open. And if you think the 2003 Lewis was as explosive a puncher, or as good a fighter period as the 87-88 Tyson, then you're fooling yourself. The only way Vitali goes the distance here is he goes into octopus mode. If he stands and fights with Tyson, he gets taken out eventually, but at least he'd earn more respect. The Tyson that fought Biggs for example, breaks Vitali down to the body and eventually puts him out.
a dreadful fight i regret attending. and Dr Ironshit was life and death with the pregnant linksman early on
