I'm sure Frank Warren was quoted recently as saying Hamed would take Pacquiáo at Super-bantamweight/Junior-featherweight (or maybe it was Bantamweight, I forget)...but regardless:
    • Manny Pacquiáo v Naseem Hamed @ 122lb
    • Manny Pacquiáo v Naseem Hamed @ 115lb

    Who you got and why?

The 122 lb version of Hamed blasts the 122 lb version of Manny into bolivian

    Pacquaio ever fight at 115?

122 is kind of interesting to me... Both guys would be dealing with something neither of them ever dealt with... Southpaws with ridiculous speed and power... I have a hard time even visualizing the matchup

I'd feel comfortable betting on Manny to handle Hamed's power than Hamed handling his.

Manny's done far more against much better competition than Hamed ever did.

Shouldn't be any disagreement over Manny's accomplishments vs Hamed's.

Accomplishments Alone DON'T Win Fights Though, Brother MUZSE...For All of Hamed's Flaws, Pacquiao was ALOT More Basic @ the Lower Weights, in a BAD Way...Manny was a Seek & Destroy, Jab, Jab, Jab, Straight Left Guy...That was ALL he Did...Prince was @ his Best as a COUNTER Puncher, which he Would Be, Squaring Off w/a Lower Weight Manny Pacquiao...Hamed would Be UNLIKE Anybody Pac Ever Experienced, in a Smaller Man...

Why would Hamed have issue with Pac's power? I'm still waiting for someone to point out a time Hamed was actually hurt in a fight, not knocked off balance because of his goofy-ass footwork, but actually HURT

Muzse is incapable of objectivity with regard to Hamed

He was rocked/rubbered by a hard left hook vs Barrera. But it was flush on the button and he recovered within a few seconds so if anything i'd say it was confirmation that he has a sturdy chin

    Yep.
    1:30 of Rd2.

If folks are saying "Hagler's hurt!!" after that Hearns right-hand, circa 00:30, Rd1, then Hamed is definably hurt here.

Don't really see it man. He got hit full force on the button with his chin in the air twice in about 5 seconds. It physically shook his body and put him off balance but he was right as rain within 2 seconds.

naz had a good chin no doubt

pac back then was very very one dimensional

    good fight IMO
i don't even think Naz knocking out Pac is out of the question

Hamed skipped 122, I think. That was when Barrera held the WBO JFe title.

I would pick Pacquiao without much confidence and I would be rooting for Hamed.

Hamed isn't the type of fighter who anyone can be expected to beat every time out. He just hit too hard and his delivery system was too unique.

Fine, he fought there under a year, against no one with a pulse, and moved up to featherweight for a title shot, probably because Barrera was holding the 122 lb title he would have targeted.
